I love animals and there is no doubt about that. I love birds, dinosaurs, dragons, butterflies, dogs, cats, chickens… you name it all rest assured they all have a place in my heart.
Here’s a picture of me feeding a lot of ducks, taken at my mommy’s friend’s apartment over the weekend when we visited Fort Worth. I enjoyed feeding ducks with my sister and our friends. A whole entire loaf of sliced bread was gone just so they can eat.
It was so nice to be able to touch those animals at the same time feeding their hungry stomach and take note, we did not even have to go anywhere else to find them, they came to us just outside their apartment’s door. Looking forward to doing it again next time.
Yesterday was a special and big day for me spiritual-wise. Thanks to my mommy who never give up sending me to Sunday school and tirelessly bringing me to all church activities in relation with my First Communion activities. Took me two years total in order for me to be qualified to achieve this greatest milestone that happened yesterday.
Mommy congratulated me after receiving my First Holy Communion at St. Batholomew Catholic church on May 20,2017. Thanks to her because if it wasn’t for her perseverance and encouragement , I would have not completed this. Now that I am done with this, we can take it easy and relax. Hopefully, when we move out in the country we can find a Catholic church to go to so I can continue to receive my communion.
Anyway, here’s me receiving the Eucharist from the priest, it was fulfilling and this Eucharist will serve as food for my soul.
Second picture is a group picture of the first batch of communicants, another batch followed right after us! Congratulations to all these kids too!
I love all kinds of animals including fish! Here’s me and my sister so amused of the little fish that uncle Mike bought for baits. They are so cute and want to keep them but then they slowly died. We had no choice but use them as baits and release those that we didn’t use rather than keeping them in a tight and small container and wait to die.
Mommy sees the fish and drooling over them. She said that she wants to make a soup out of these fish! That’s what she is always thinks of food every time she sees some fish. For me, I love them as a pet not for food.
February 19,2017 was such a fun day for me and my entire family in the country. Avery, Texas is such a small town with only 482 population in it but it is way funner than living in the city because there’s so many things to do outdoors. One of the many things we can do while being far from the civilization is go fishing in a pond.
As determined as mommy to catch some fish, I successfully caught 3 catfish on that day, took me whole day to make it three. Mommy was my loud cheerer for catching my first one! I feel happy and fulfilled because you know fishing is hard work. You wait and wait for a long time and hope something will eat your bait.
This is my 9th birthday cake. I am so into dinosaurs and so I thought it would be great to have a dinosaur on my birthday. Although it came two days later after my birthday, yet it made me happy. Dada bought it for me. Mommy has been busy working and I am glad dada heard me and bought me this one.
It is pink which is not really my favorite color but I have no complain. It is too pretty to be a cake. Two wishes on my birthday were granted, to go on skating and a dinosaur cake. I could not ask for more! I am very happy.
I thank God for another year added to my life. I can’t believe I turn 9 today, cheers to that! Since I received a lot of toys in Christmas, I did not ask much from mommy and dada. This time I just wished to be able to go in a skating rink and experience it myself.
So, yesterday, my entire family went to the Silver Wheel Skating rink and tried skating for the first time. At first me and my sister were holding on to the side rail for a couple minutes. After I got used to the wheels, I braved on skating around the rink for a few times and then to the center of the rink as minutes went by. I did enjoy it very much, got very sweaty and skate for over an hour.
If it wasn’t because of my sister whining and rushing us to go home, I could have enjoyed more of my stay there. Dada said that he will drive me again to the rink so I can skate some more, I don’t know when that is but I trust his words he will bring me back to the skating rink.
This is me and Santa taken at Island Spa retreat in December 9. It is my second time attending a party at that place, thanks to mommy’s friend for hosting the party and inviting Santa over. This time it has a bit of change because Mrs. Claus came with Santa too and we did caroling, story-telling and enjoyed two games. Lots of candies I got and a free picture with Santa. I did not have a chance to tell him what I want for Christmas but I am getting some, I think.
It was a fun night not just for the kids but for adults as well. We only stayed for two hours though because mommy came straight from work that night and had to work early the following day. Over all, it was a blast and I enjoyed it, that’s for sure!
There is nothing more wonderful than imagining how it is to become a mermaid. Mommy reads a lot about Ariel the mermaid who fell in love with Prince Eric, the human. So, I can’t help but pretend having a tail and swim in the deep ocean.
That imagination somehow is being fulfilled when mommy handed me this blue knitted mermaid tail blanket for her review. It is a little too long and big for me now but I love it. When I put my legs in it, I feel like I become a mermaid, flopping my tail and just let my mind think that I actually have a mermaid tail.
I find it very cool, so does mommy and my little sister. Plus it is a blue color that makes it look a bit believable. I wear it when I am seated on the chair while watching t.v.
July 11 was my six-month dental cleaning. Mommy took me to the dentist. They took an x-ray of my mouth then brought me to the cleaning room and started working in my mouth. Sonia, who became mommy’s kinda sorta friend, made it easy and entertaining for everybody.
Didn’t take her long to do what is necessary for my teeth to be cleaned and polished. The dentist came in and said I have no cavity or any problem in my teeth, so that alone is indeed a good news. Meaning, I have been doing good with brushing and rinsing my teeth with mommy’s help too! So, I must do the brushing habit every night before going to bed to avoid a huge expense in the future just like what we’ve done when I was two years old. Had a dentist put in 6 silver caps in my mouth that cost my dada $3k. Never again would I want to go through that.
June 2,2016 was the last day of school for 2015-2016 school year. I finished second grade that day and a garnered 7 awards from my teacher/s.

Despite of the constant nagging I got from mommy and early morning rises during those entire school period, I am thankful to her and my dada for helping, supporting and guiding me through out. I love them and forever will be grateful for the things they have done to me and the unconditional love they have given me since birth.
Looking forward to another year of my grade life.
